I have been screwing around with this very same issue today. Turned the key for the first time and fuel srarted klicking and then stopped. I cycled it five times to the same result. The carbs were removed prior for dismantling and cleaning. Did some fine tuning on carbs and went for a ride...

The MRA one had more adjusrability as it is mounted to the handlebars. It has some height and tilt adjustability. The Givi is solid mounted with very little adjustability. The wind would hit me in the upper chest with the Givi, while on the MRA, the wind hits the top of the helmet. Mike

50 new in 5 years is a marketing scheme - they won't be all new bikes, but rather redesigns, etc.... Unfortunately, Harley has not had much luck introducing new models. The v-rod is a great bike but doesn't sell well. The 500 & 750 models have had a terrible start in sales in North America...

I bought one a while back for my wife's bike and have nothing bad to say about them as far as quality goes. Takes a little screwing with to get them mounted, no big issues. Mike

I have had two Vmaxes over the years, both had stage 7 and piped and both consumed 1 liter on average between oil changes. My second Vmax was pretty much brand new when I bought it and it consumed the same amount of oil as the first Vmax with 82,ooo miles on the clock. But...
