Okay, I am going to have to check my jetting here and see if I can get it dialed in at 1000 ft. and record all the settings, then once I move I will have to set a day aside and get it dialed in at the new elevation, I suppose if I need to go back down I can swap it all back to the 1000 ft setup...

Not to hijack this thread but I also have a jetting question, I live at about 1000 feet here in phoenix, in the next month or so I will be moving up to prescott valley which is at about 5000 feet, I also have the modified stock exhaust right now until I can afford a kerker system, it runs great...

I bought the bike used and someone must have swapped it out at some point, it is a real pain in the ass, the other day my low fuel light came on about 12miles from home, I pulled into a gas station only to find i didnt have my gas cap key, spent the whole ride home wondering when I was going to...

does anyone know if there is a kit that will make my ignition and my fuel cap lock take the same key?

I would be interested in a bearing and bolt, I will just drill my own lever though

well I have called every dealership and bike shop in town, nobody has this collar in stock. I guess that means no riding for me this weekend :bang head:, I will have to special order one:confused2:

okay I got my new shinko's the other day. like a child I was so excited to mount them up that during the front wheel removal I lost the front axle collar that goes on the right side of the front wheel,between the wheel and the fork leg. I have searched everywhere and cannot find it anywhere...

I am hoping that by the end of the month I will have new rubber on the max. I am leaning towards the shinko's. Is there a break in period for tires or a time period that you should take it easy or are they good to go once mounted? thanks

does anyone run straight bars on their max. i am thinking of swapping from the fatory bars to straight bars, will they clear without risers and where can i get them thanks Richard

I got to the shop this morning and checked the diff temp with my hand thermometer, it was warm but not scalding hot or anything crazy. maybe I just need to get used to the shaft drive and having to clutch the bike more thanks guys Richard
