Inhave it and love it... Was free since I had the stock spring from my 2002 RSV. I also did the same to my buddy's 1999 Road Star 1600. It's a stiffer pull for sure but not bad if your a man.
Got caught in rain for a while... Long ride.... Stopped a few times to avoid rain but ultimately powered through. 420 miles and tired and wet! Changed oil and washed up the bike real good. I posted on the Road Star Clinic about making 2022 Thunder in the Valley a "Meet N Greet".... See if any of...
Did about 1000 miles in 4 days and had a blast. Right hand goes numb at 5500 rpm's for hours and hours.... Butt felt sore (almost ilke friction sore not lower back pain sore). My seat is recovered and somewhat modified and don't want to tear I to it... Would rather buy a different seat for long...
Weather is looking very good so far... Extended forecast shows possible rain Saturday only and moderate temperature...
Changing oil on the vmax this week... And changed my reservations to Thurs through Sunday.... Leaning towards taking Vmax but man... My Roadliner is super comfy and has big...
I rearranged some things so I'll be checking in Thursday hopefully noonish at Wyndham hotel and checking out Sunday. I even may try to bring Vmax and try out my little sdaalebags and bungee a duffle bag on back!
Well just installed Tsyauku fairing with stereo and new battery in my Roadliner... So I think I'm bringing that big blue beast (much more comfy on 800-900 mile round trip than vmax). Keep an eye out in the parkinglot.. Buddy will be on his black road star.
I'm still debating... Maybe leave 4am Friday morning and get in About 10-11am.. Want to bring vmax but my little saddlebags don't offer much room... Buddy coming with his Road Star I just got done getting all setup for him.... Putting tsyauku fairing with stereo on Roadliner and its a big comfy...
Hope I don't get too much ****.... I may bring either my Roadliner or my Road Star.... Leaving right after wedding/reception for step daughter Friday and riding 400 miles till wee hours of the morning. My vmax is nice for an hour or two... But 400 miles and no luggage space AND being very tired...
.... And my ears.... Even with foam ear plugs.... 12 hours and 425 miles of my bike exhaust was about enough! I think I'll stick with my Road Star or Roadliner for long distance rides lol
