Ordered a Maxgasser seat a couple weeks ago, can't wait to get it and then go for a ride. Rick was very helpful in answering many questions, sending pics and helping me in color choice. I will definitely update this thread when I get it and go for a ride. Chuck

Maybe we can have an Iowa Max rally.... I hardly ever see a Vmax here, in fact living in DSM since 1998 I have only seen 2 but looks there is a few more than that, which is awesome.

I don't know how you are doing it, you are absolutely correct, something tells me you will be out riding before me......Let us know how your first extended ride goes. For those that are feeding the mod monkey, I might have to try that technique next year, the Max is in my father in-laws garage...

Ok I put the Max in the garage in November, it hasn't been a real bad winter here in Iowa but not warm enough to ride yet. Is anyone else jonesing to ride? Probably at least a month before it is nice enough.....how do you all deal with this time of year? Drinking is a method but thinking that...

6 years in high school and college then a 19 year break until this spring. Started with a kz400, then a 600 ninja in the really years, recently 1987 Honda super magna followed shortly after that with a 2000 vmax. If I can get the magna sold next year I plan to get a venture for the long rides...

one correction, it is 18 hours instead of 1800 miles, it is only 1100 miles....still going to pull the bike.
