    Age of Vmax owners

66 Here pulled my 1st bike off a scrap heap in back of a Honda dealer in '69 (250 Kawasaki) I've had em all, except a 2nd gen which I'll get. Sold my '94 and got a VRod, mean soundin bike that cannot compete with the Max but fun to ride. Have Harleys but my best current ride is a Yamaha (of...

    three percent the truth

We elected those democratic cork saulkers to work for US. All they have done so far is WASTE 3 years on this BS and make any good remaining demos ashamed to be associated with that party. Why havent they passed that treaty? Where's the damn infrastructure bills? Anyone who votes any of these...

Central PA member looking for service

After you get that cleaned up, my suggestion would be to run NON ethanol whenever you can. That damn corn gas screwed up my Tour deluxe V4 this year but fresh non ethanol, new NGKs, and seafoam brought it out of it. I'll still need a teardown eventually tho

    VMax/VRod Cruiseability

No the VRod won't even come close to the Vmax. There IS nothing like the Vboost. Having owned both, I still like the VRod for Hi Way cruising. It's a hell of a lot heavier, has that long wheelbase, sits nice and low, good bar location for me, comfortable with a sundowner seat and if you cut the...

    Is it just me, or...

I check in from time to time, sold my 94 and replaced it with a VRod. No not as quick it is what it is. My thoughts on the Gen2 is no they dont need much modding, and most guys dont want to dump 10 grand give or take into one. I'll probably own another Gen 1 in the future but for now enjoying...
