out of curiosity, I noticed you have your fuel selector on reserve, how come? I ask because I am unclear on how exactly the reserve works on this bike. I ran it out of fuel once, flipped to the reserve, and nothing happened. I turned the key off and then on and then the bike started again but...

So I'm the proud new owner of a set of used highway bars that I got from eBay. It didn't come with any of the bolts to mount them, does anyone know what size bolts/washers/nuts I should be picking up to get these bad boys mounted? They are the standard three attachment point style of bars...

My first motorcycle was a 1992 Intruder 1400. That was a fun bike to learn to ride on, and to learn to work on!

The triumph has been a lot of fun, but the dang thing eats stators. I enjoy bikes with character that you don't see every day, the vmax has been on my list since I first saw one when I was a kid!

Just put on a pair that I scored cheap from eBay, the sound is much improved over stock! Did you remove the center bracket for the stock exhaust when you did your install? It looked like the bolt would be a pain to get to, so I left it.

If you don't mind me asking where did you get them? Got a link?

I'm looking to improve the brakes on my VMAX, but I like the way the OEM lines are routed, does anyone know if the Gaffer 3 line set fit the stock routing? Or is there another option I'm not yet aware of? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to y'all!
