I went to my local dealer with my ‘86 and they wouldn’t even take the rear wheel off because it was more than 20 years old. Liability dontcha know… I was so pissed I changed it myself the old fashioned way.

Hey Arnoud, welcome to the forum. I do have some experience with these tires just not on a Vmax. They will be fine as long as the weight rating is sufficient. I’ve run even “blockier” tread on the street with no issues. I didn’t think they made a 15” for the rear.

Do you have a fork brace on it? What tires are you running? I had bad weave running Dunlops. They seem to have a more triangular profile.
