    Anyone near Blaine/Bellingham, WA???

Here's another idea. I need to fly back to Indiana and drive back across some time next week. If anyone near Seattle wouldn't mind if I parked my bike with them for a couple weeks, I would fly out of SeaTac. A bit if a bigger favor than I had originally intended, I know, but it would sure...

    Anyone near Blaine/Bellingham, WA???

Hey there. I am moving back to Canada and need to leave my bike in the States for 3 days while they process the paperwork to export it. I'd really rather not leave it unattended in a public lot somewhere, so I'm wondering if there is anyone on here in the near area, or if anyone knows of a...

Putting down your bike... like a boss.

I've also got a stock handlebar and also stock mirrors. Shoot me a PM if you'd like them. Glad to hear that the ego is worst of the damage, and also glad to hear that you're ready to get back on and learn from it.

I get all my parts from Sean here on the forum (one2dmax). You might find it a *little* cheaper elsewhere but: A.) Sean puts a lot of time into this forum helping us guys out, B.) He usually has parts stocked and gets them to me within 2 or 3 days, and C.) you wont find a better guy to work...

    Now.........more problems

i had similar issues last year and it turned out to be nothing more than a pinched breather hose off the fuel tank. it was inside the battery box i think getting squeezed. Probably not your issue but maybe worth ruling out before you go changing your plugs / cops.

Forgive me, Brothers, for I have sinned...

I've done the unthinkable. I have nothing to say for myself. Bought myself some new tires for Christmas (Metzler 880s :punk:). Today i removed the wheels and took off the old tires ... ... But I never did a final burn-out on them :wave bye: I have no excuse. I'll accept...

HOW TO: Remove/Inspect/Replace your Starter Clutch

It does look like that doesn't it Naughty? NO - the puller is on the flywheel housing, NOT the ring gear. The gear is set back far enough that I don't think you could get a puller on it anyway.

HOW TO: Remove/Inspect/Replace your Starter Clutch

A common starting problem with the Vmax is a loose or cracked starter clutch. You know this is the problem when you hear a God-awful noise like a bag of gravel spinning around when trying to start (particularly when it is cold). This guide will show you how to remove and inspect the starter...

thinking about parting out my gen 1

Hey Matt Unless you're REALLY hurting for the cash, I'd try to find a way to hold on to it. Keep her tuned up even if you aren't riding it much (at all). The bike is a classic - just imagine handing those keys over to your son in 20 years. My 2cents.. That said, I agree with others about...

    Powdercoating wheels

Hey all I'm wondering if anyone has ever powdercoated their wheels. What all is involved? I assume the front is relatively easy, but I you still need to remove the bearings and all the grease - anything else? What about the rear wheel? How difficult is it to disassemble it to have it...
