After flushing 3 gals through the bike my clutch is back!! Thank you all for the direction. I used only T4 in my flush and that's what I'll use going forward.

Lol I made this mistake the other day. safe to say the clutch switch has been bypassed in some way. The previous owner also bypassed the kickstand switch I think. The kickstand doesn't come anywhere near the switch at full lock. Are these circuits related in anyway?

Thats a great idea. I know those stock coils arent cheap. I'll clean them up and hold onto em for a rainy day

Well boys i figured it out. Pulled the carb again and found the issue. multiple clogged passages. The main offender was the air passages but I found others clogged. see attached, I got an ultrasonic cleaner and they are sparkly clean now! Also replaced all soft parts with a K+L kit. Got a...

Yep thats exactly what I was able to do. seems to work well testing it on the bench. I ended up not replacing any of the seats, only the needles. How do you get the seats out anyway?

🤣🤣I definitely felt like an idiot trying to get them the float to slide in. I couldn't make it happen tho. Am I approaching it wrong? I start by putting the needle in and then try to slide the float down into the loop.

Anybody else had to trim the float needle to get it to seat around the float? This is from the K+L kit next to the stock one. Stock is only 3/4 closed and the K+L is boxed in fully. See attached images.
