    Damn Harley Guy

+1 Kyle! Glad you got your coin. I guess there's hope for at least some dead-beat *********s. I hate it when I hear about a "friend" who stiffs a friend because he thinks pals will overlook debts...WRONG! Anyway, what's all this talk about pizza? Is there another New York Pizza event...

    Damn Harley Guy

Re: Damn Harley Guys Maybe I'm way out of line here but I think your good friend should consider paying up on behalf of the douche-bag he sent your way. A real friend would not send a deadbeat to you for a paying job so if he mistakenly sent this scum-bag your way, then he should take some...

New meaning of the "F word"

Almost everyone thinks that the sound of his/her pipes is ear candy. The problem is that what one person thinks is ear candy may sound like nails in a blender to another person. Personally, I like the sound of most aftermarket pipes but not when they wake me at 2am on a work night. That sort...

    Damn Harley Guy

Re: Damb Harley Guys Anyone who stiffs a friend money is a ********* of the lowest order and this sort of self-absorbed behaviour is not exclusive to Harley owners either. Blaine

New meaning of the "F word"

When I owned my '06 I went on several VMax events and blipping the throttle was common upon arriving at an event/destination and when we stopped at traffic lights. I personally do not see any harm in blipping the throttle away from quiet areas (e.g. parks, residential areas) and at sensible...

    Vstrom 1000, and me

+1 on your VStrom experience. I considered a V-Strom as a replacement for my Vmax in 2008. I had one out twice on demo days and it is truly an all-around great bike. I would have to say that the build quality on the ones I drove was above Gen-1 VMax standards. The EFI on mine worked well...

New meaning of the "F word"

This behaviour is not exclusive to Harley owners. Take your pick: metric cruisers, Victory's, sport bikes, etc. Anyone who likes the sound of his/her pipes is going to blip the throttle. Blaine

    6th Annual Spring Ice Breaker

Hey Redbone, Did you take a scenic route to get to icebreaker or stick to the main roads to make time? The reason i ask is that I may be taking a trip into Michigan and would be interested in the nicer roads in the UP. Cheers! Blaine

    6th Annual Spring Ice Breaker

Jim, you can be such a funny fellow! I am glad the weather held out for you folks and there were opportunities to ride. This area is very scenic in the late spring with all the farmland coming to life. Nice views of Lake Erie as well. Blaine

    Cottage Country

My son and I had a nice 330 km ride today up into cottage country. Used less than 1 tank of gas (17 litres)! I'm glad everyone in the family enjoys motorcycling...it's a great way to bond. Cheers! Blaine
