I used the old fork seals to drive the new ones down, lightly tapping the seal from all sides with a flat center punch. They sit high enough after you seat the new ones to pull out with your fingers. Make sure the print side of the seal is up and rub inside and out with new fork oil before...

Pulled the carbs back off, checked linkage, bench sync'd, reinstalled, checked all boots and clamps and started right up and purred. Gonna do a real sync now and get it lined up. Thanks for the help SDT.
