Any qualified welder can fix that. A good way is to place a washer over it with a 6mm hole. This covers up everything you want to protect. Have the welder move his arc from a piece of scrap to the washer to the broken part. Then weld a nut to the washer. Done right, everything will come out...
Does anyone know what the vacuum (In HG) runs in the VX when playing around in the garage ? Or better yet where the intake pressure is all the way through a dyno run ? I have some info I'd like to post but need the operating vacuum to explain it better.
Sorry I could'nt resist, my story is how about "short" the tire might last. My buddy and I ordered a Gen 2 as soon as they were announced. He lived in Anchorage and I live in Minneapolis so I had custody and he rode it a few times a year when he visited his parents. Shortly after we picked it...
Hi, do you sell a Valve adjusting kit with the shims and tool ? I'm tuning up a 99 Max right now and need shims and the tool.
Thanks, Tom from Ham Lake, MN
Thanks for the ideas and experiences - this is what I need.

Hi guys, I'm trying to save long walks home and hours of diagnosis if possible. My buddy's 99 stalls after a short ride, last year I decided it was a poor battery and bad stator, causing low voltage after a few miles with no charging. The stator was bad, installed a rebuilt Rick's and everything...
Although there's a lot of good ideas on how to fix it, they all cost money. Skip the witch hunt and spending a lot of money. Just give it more gas and power through it. If it still wobbles just hold on tighter.
My right side cover was damaged in a trailering incident last Aug. I'm looking for an OEM Yamaha cover, or a pair of good quality CF covers for both sides.
Price works, how do we go about this ? I can Paypal funds if you tell me how much for shipping, I'll add that. USPS or cheapest way is fine, it's winter here. [email protected]
