    crap, I have a dilemma

I almost say don't make any moves until you have the check from the lady and it clears the bank. I've learned not to expect anything more than disappointment when someone says they'll do something and more often than not they back out. Learned the hard way not to count your chickens 'till...

    COP's Harness pics

Damn....hopefully there's still interest once I finally get my ass around to installing COPs on my Max. I would DEFINITELY go for some of these. Might look good as a steel braided sleeve as well, what with the silver trim on the motors and such.

    Mobile wireless routers

Belkin is good. I sell this **** all day long, and I would recommend Belkin, Cisco, Linksys, or D-Link. Here is a link with tons of offerings for what you need. http://www.cdw.com/shop/search/results.aspx?key=Wireless%20router&SortBy=PriceAsc&searchscope=All&Mode=1&pCurrent=1&wclss=N25#Brand

Fighting fireblocks to wire up a surround sound system

Thanks for that. I'll definitely check into a long drillbit like that. I still have to get into the attic and see if I can even get to the fireblock from above. Not sure what obstacles I'll encounter up there....I don't wanna go up there either. When it's 100 degrees or more outside, our attic...

Fighting fireblocks to wire up a surround sound system

Nah, not really. I'm not a fan of under-carpet wires. If I was putting the surround speakers on floor stands, maybe, but I'm ceiling mounting them. I was under the belief that all states required fireblocks in exterior walls according to building code. I guess maybe not all states? I know I...

Fighting fireblocks to wire up a surround sound system

Has anyone here ever had to go around fireblocks in a wall to run wires? I'm planning to run all my wiring for the surround sound system in the living room and the TV is on an exterior wall and I really don't want to have to cut the wall open to do this. Can I run the wires up through the wall...

    Arizona Memorial Day ride

Thanks for the kind words guys. I figured that ride would be sufficient for a first ride amongst the Southern Arizona Vmaxers. We'll do a longer ride later sometime. And Tom, we were wondering where the hell you were going to when you made that left turn! Then I was completely shocked when I...

    Arizona Memorial Day ride

Well aside from losing 2 bandanas and a pair of sunglasses, the ride went well. It was short and quick though. We'll have to plan another one when the weather is a bit cooler. Maybe a night ride? Here are some pics...only 4 of us were able to make it.

Polaris Caretaker pool cleaning system malfunction

Home warranties are typically paid for by the seller for the first year. It covers basically most things that break in the house. We already had a guy come out once. The piping on our pool is old and brittle (no thanks to the heat and sun) and sprung a leak. Only $55 to fix all the leaks and...

Polaris Caretaker pool cleaning system malfunction

So I went out early this morning to tinker with it again because it's frustrating me so much.....see the picture. I turned the bottom most knob (I have no clue what it's for, the knob is broken) and VOILA! the cleaning system works! But by doing that, the pool skimmer valves don't circulate...

Polaris Caretaker pool cleaning system malfunction

Ok....I'm officially stumped. Our pool has one of the Polaris/Caretaker in-floor cleaning systems in it. The system didn't work right when we bought the house. Only 2 of the heads in the pool would work, but they never went down. That leads me to believe that somehow the gears in the unit might...

    Arizona Memorial Day ride

You two will definitely be missed. Hopefully we can get another ride organized that you will be able to go on. But on the plus side, being busy and having lots of work to do is better than what some others are experiencing!

    Motorcycle jack

That's going to make for a loud Memorial Day ride...cause I'm running the same pipe. Except mine only has about 1/3 of the packing that SHOULD be in the comp baffle :biglaugh:

    Motorcycle jack

I don't know what you all with Kerker headers are talking about, but I've tried using a lift before I my bike doesn't seem stable at ALL. Maybe it was the lift I was using, I don't know, but it just wasn't right. Speaking of Kerker headers too, (hijacking the thread again) has anyone ever put...
