How to break it off with your employer

LOL if you're in Houston, and the company you works for also has an office in Phoenix (Tempe to be specific) then I'm 110% positive we both work for the same people. How funny!

How to break it off with your employer

Oh yeah, compared to the weather back in Indiana right now, this is awesome. It's in the teens and snowing back in NWI. Out here is in the 60s during the daytime. Although my need for a house with a garage is imminent. My bike wouldn't start Friday morning thanks to the cold weather. And I have...

How to break it off with your employer

Thanks for the advice guys. The job that I'm leaving isn't something that they have to replace immediately. Since it's a collections job, there are TONS of people already there. It's not a specialty job or something that needs immediate replacement such as a metal shop teacher in high school. I...

How to break it off with your employer

How do you tell a company that you've been working with for a grand total of about 45 days that you're wanting to quit yet still leave yourself an out in case you need to come back? I was offered a highly-desired position with another company in the field that I want to be in, and I'm most...

    Saw one of these today..

That bike very distinctly resembles a few of the newer Triumph motorcycles. Good bikes.

    Kozy's Engine Removal thread

I will double check the fluid level. My idle is set around 1200 rpms currently. I would have also thought that the lower revs were the cause for increased noise, however, the whining noise is in all gears and not just 5th gear. And the speed/pitch of it increases in conjunction with RPMs. I'm...

    Kozy's Engine Removal thread

Sadly, I've gotta revisit this thread. I figured it would be better than creating a whole new one. Now that I've ridden the bike quite a bit since I got the whole tranny rebuild finished, I'm noticing sounds that I've never heard before. The main sound is a whirring of sorts. It almost sounds...

    keyless ignition

A lot of the new cars nowadays have this option on them. It's pretty cool. Although don't ever forget that fob....otherwise you're in deep doodoo. I always wondered in these what would happen if your battery decided to die suddenly.

Anyone in the Phoenix area with a bike lift?

Oh god...don't start....LOL I've narrowed the noise down to my Kerker can. I'm pretty sure the rattle is in there somewhere, because when I let off the throttle the noise disappears. The wife heard it too....it's a strange day when a wife actually hears the same noises that the man does...

Anyone in the Phoenix area with a bike lift?

Oh. This noise comes around about 35 mph but goes away as soon as I speed up or slow down.

Oh yeah you know it! Maybe I can barter with him....trade some larger jets for some smaller ones..... Thanks Steve! You and your wife have a great Thanksgiving as well.

Anyone in the Phoenix area with a bike lift?

I think I'm getting the same squealing you spoke of. Except its weird...i can only hear it at certain speeds. It keeps making me think that something is falling apart LOL

    Coincidence or Correlation???

Did you check to see what size your mains are?

    rejetting for a new elevation

Well damn. I just checked my stash of Mikuni jets. I've got 5 different jet sizes with the smallest being the 152.5s. Everything else I have is larger. Gotta find me some 150's

    rejetting for a new elevation

Aaron, my bike has noooooo problems accellerating above 100. Not in the least...I test it out all the time just to make sure :biglaugh: I went to an open parking lot today and re-configured my A/F screws. I've got them all set at 3.5 turns out. I tried them at 3 turns out, but my throttle...

    Coincidence or Correlation???

Damn...if only I had a multimeter...I saw quite a few 6-packs the other day at the store with my name on ALL of them!

Anyone in the Phoenix area with a bike lift?

So funny story, I went into Sears to get some Loctite and when I asked where I could find it, the guy took me over to a section and pointed out Loctite brand krazy glue....LOL I walked out and went to AutoZone, where I should have gone in the first place.

    rejetting for a new elevation

Oh crap, that's right. I never split the rack and checked the float levels after the dealership had their hands on it. I should probably have done that a long time ago, eh? I read up on the thread about setting the float levels and I think I'm losing it. Everyone talks about a circle that's...
