This happened to me on one of my carbs. Piece of dirt was stuck to one of the ridges on the needle valve making it stick shut. Pull the rack, dissassemble and clean your carbs. Check your fuel tank for rust and change the fuel filter. Mike Costa VMOA #3531

That R6 was barely moving. He could've dusted the Max at any time. My son I had one for awhile and power doesn't come on until past 9000RPM. That road, BTW, is in Spain, near the French border.

Since it started once and then died, something failed. Your main fuse probably blew as others are saying. If fuse is OK then you have some troubleshooting to do. Only other safety switch is on the clutch master. Easy to check with an ohm meter as is side stand switch.

Definitely a key, especially since they use the word "key" in the intro. it's one of those electronic theft prevention keys. Must fit onto something centered on the bike , like in the center top of a faux tank to look like gas cap. This new bike is not going to be cheap!
