Very important to put it on stand under you engine guards. You can brake sidestand - extremely strong forces infolved.

Maybe the shaking plate creates a noise, not the bolts. Will try to use aftermarket 6 points clutch, but really need to be correct holding bolts.

Looks like a major fault in design. Bolts must have upper part flat , to be tight fitted in the holes. Otherwise the whole plate is moving.

I guess that is common for Vmaxes. So sad. I will buy either just bolts or clutch from Partzilla. I don't trust bike anymore and don't think it will last for extra 20-30 000 miles. Will fix it and sell.

Cali DMV rules: bike "new" if less than 7500 mi. You will need three stickers- vin, engine, And emission label that states bike is legal for CA standarts. Most modern bikes have it. 2007 vmax - under airbox cover. Suzuki m50 - on the frame. Make appointment with DMV, officer will check labels...

Probably give up on that idea. Too much and shipping $1000-1500. And reregistration. Thank you all for advices.

I am buying bike in Florida, i am in California.. What owner is doing with pink slip? Fill it, sign and send with the bike? Is he detaching part and send it to his own DMV? Does he keep the plate or not?
