Update: take battery to the store, they recharged it, put to test, said it is in great condition. Bike starts - no problem, but still a mystery why it dries up quickly and only one cell totally. Had to check it at least once a year.
I would try waive it side to side in garage on neutral, put it at the angle, bump it at something. Try to find exact moment when it stalls. Hard to do it while riding. Looks to me like problem with fuel supply. If it electrical contact, why it reconnect after the bump when you start bike again?
Dead battery - 8/2018 bought. Positive cell totally dried. Looks like tender has nothing to do with it. Water levels must be checked once a year. Problem is - it so hard to reach.
Sometimes similar thing happened to me on cold start with open choke. But i have 1gen 2007, 30 000 miles. I thought it just a big complicated engine. At least i can start it.:)
What the **** is going on? I live in Los angeles. Whom did they stop autos and moto, just for noise? You can go to auto shop who deal with exaust systems and ask them to reduce noise. They are profi and know the ropes.
Found the problem! Little vboost manual switch, from pevious owner, was in ON position. Some **** stole a flashlight from handlebar, he probably touch the switch. No wonder it perfomed differently when cold and idle and servo test did not work.
Suddenly noticed there is no buzzing sound when turn on ignition key. Gen1, 2007 28000 miles. But i can start it and run, although with slightly open choke for cold start. When warm up - idling is normal in 1000 rpm. Does that mean fuel pump system is dead? Can i run without fuel pump?
