Fuel coming out tube on top of carb?

For me to help combat the problem of the Ethanol / water issue, I try very hard to keep my tank full at all times, to eliminate extra air space and slow down any rusting. Especially if the bike is going to sit for a few weeks.

    harlan shift light

Yes that is Tom bracket for the shift light and OP gauge. Just like his other products, its perfect! The tube that I used for the shift light is the stock housing that Harlan make the light out of. I just had to get the rubber end caps to fit. I think I had to buy a bag of 50. So like I said, if...

    harlan shift light

yes that is correct. I soldered new wires onto his board and ran to my own light. I have extra caps somewhere, that house the module, if your interested in doing one yourself

    harlan shift light

So far so good with my Harlan light. The only issue that I have with mine is that when I hit the horn button, it will cause the light to come on. I think that water could be an issue with the Harlan lights so I came up with a "better" design. So when I first got mine, I modified it so I could...

    Slide question

So if the throttle response is to be better when the slides are drilled, will that help eliminate the "flutter" of the slide I see when I look into the top of carbs when slowly increasing RPM's?

    Slide question

I have a Morley Muscle jet kit in my bike. I have read many posts on some people drill the slides and other dont. Currently, mine are not drilled. What is the advantage or disadvantage to drilling?

    Carb problems

I was setting my A/F screws and when I was adjusting the #1 cylinder, I noticed that there was not any change in the engine. I can turn the A?F screw all the way in an the bile runs the same. I did try the peashooter and the shotgun cleaning methods on this and the results are the same. I am...

Marks 4-2 made my A/F ratio rich?

Here is another idea. Get on your bike and ride it out to Sean's and have in install it for you. You will have a nice long ride and a professional install and tune on your Max.

    A little April Fool's Day slap-down!

I know the feeling. A high of 79 today and a 50% chance of rain. Can't wait for summer weather to get here.

What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

On my 06, I know that Danny's fork tool will not work. Yamaha didn't machine the hex into these newer years. I simply used a 3/4'' wooden dowel rod that I ground down to fit, to hold it in place until I could start bolt and to tighten it up. The impact will work great for the removal, but...

    Solid motor mount group buy

I am using the Delrin MM and I am pleased with them. I did notice a difference in the handling with them. I feel that for a handling upgrade that is less than $100, they are well worth it. As Garrett mentioned, a braced swingarm is also a must. As for the increased vibes, it was not very...
