Sean, The one in my pic was a photo I grabbed off the internet. I think it was part of a kit someone sold on eBay. The one on my bike a 1997 frame is bent like that but stock.

Hi Adam welcome! I got my first V-Max on Maui in 1992 it was a 1985 with a Hindle 4/1 exhaust and stage 7 jet kit. I started drag racing it. I typically ran in the 11.90 bracket but I was able to run a few 10.90’s Good luck🤙🏼

I decided to have fish and chips for lunch so I hopped on the bike and rode out to Pacific city on the coast and had lunch at the Pelican brewery. It was a beautiful fall day. Thanks to the wife for the heated handgrips. I had to use them today. I guess summer is over.

That is a perfect first bike. Great choice. My first bike was a 1985 V-Max. Fortunately for me I was terrified of it and rode it very carefully for the first year. After that I was drag racing spinning the tire halfway down the track Or trying to keep the front end down 🤣
