I purchased an 85 V-Max 2ond gear was bad at 16k had it rebuilt and undercut gears and drag raced the crap out of it for 10,000 more miles and only had to rebuild the clutch a few times. No issues when I regretfully sold it.
I've had them is several bikes including the V-Max with no issues. The first time I ordered one I thought the box was empty. I shopped around and got one for the V-Max for $150 which was less that the cost of OEM replacement from the local dealer.
Being over 6' tall those stacks really don't work for me at all as my knees were getting sucked into them. The scoops are cool and are just fine against my knees. A full exhaust and crank vent are a must.
The belly pan was from Exactrep in the UK and the clear case covers are from Sean. He also did the paint work for me.

Thanks for the complements and suggestions. I was thinking a blue and white seat might be a little much but Sean that seat looks pretty good! I had a custom blue and white seat on another bike I owned years ago it looked great and keeping it clean wasn't really an issue. I also like the blue...
PCW has a 1500cc motor with a stage 7 carb set up for sale now that claims 165 HP and over 100fp of torq so its possible and if it is its a smoking deal.
So the stock seat just doesn't blend well with the new paint and I'm thinking of having it re covered mostly blue with some white accents. Would anyone else care to share some opinions or ideas? [/IMG]
