Ya Danny says they are 35mm Venture carbs. Everything is stock to my knowledge except for the UFO exhaust. So you think 150s will work well for the mains? Thanks Sean!

Replace them with allen head screws while you have them off.

Danny has my carbs and I was wondering what a good size main jet is to start out with on a all stock drive train minus a full length UFO 4-1 exhaust. Thanks

Thanks man. Danny is shaking down my carbs right now and I am repair the seat pan with some epoxy so that I can get it recovered. I think I should have the master cylinders today and will get those on and bled.

I wouldn't worry about it. Parts are abundant and cheap for this bike. I have a 86' and I feel like I took it way past an 2007. For the front brake I think the way to go is the Hayabusa 6 piston upgrade. It is documented all over this site.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered two new Nissin master cylinders both in 5/8 bore size. They where relatively cheap compared to most other units.

I'm thinking of changing both master cylinders on the handle bars to some newer Nissin units. I rebuilt the stock Vmax ones and one is leaking and I don't like how the powder coating came out. For the clutch MC, I assume I should stay with the bore size that the stock MC has. I have 6 piston...

I'm having an issue with the bike cutting out. I think the fuel pump isn't refilling the bowls. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Time to find that electrical schematic.
