Try taping the window and if that doesn't work open it up and carefully move the needle off the peg. On mine, both the temp and tach, the needle stuck and once I freed it it worked.

Put zx14 voltage regulator on front of battery box. Took out gas tank, drilled out leaking and striped drain bolt, re-taped threads, put in new stainless allen bolt with Teflon tape, put gas tank back in bike. Put wave rotor on rear while rear wheel was off.

Speaking of Li-Fe batteries, did I tell you guys I managed to kill a brand new one by discharging it then putting it on a charger overnight? Thing fricken ballooned. They warrantied it.
