    Bike Resto in full effect

I installed the bar end mirrors. They are sick. I think I am going to install the voltage regulator on the front of the battery box. If I install in high up it is pretty much hidden from view but will still get plenty of air and be away from the exhaust primaries.

    Bike Resto in full effect

I just got a used R/R from an zx14 and my bar end mirrors. If anyone is looking for bar end mirrors at a good price look at oberon, they are British. The quality is top notch and they had them shipped to my house in literally 2 days from the UK. Thanks for the advice V4bandit. I'll see how it...

Bad Luck during routine Morley HD Oiler installation

I had this happen on my bike. I spend hours fishing for that washer. It was terrible. I didn't know if wasn't magnetic and spent most of the time trying to use a magnet on a coat hanger. Anyways it is really tight in there but I was able to use a coat hanger wire bent to the perfect shape to...

Thanks man. One step at a time. My bike started as a clumped together pile of **** and enough ebay parts and time and you can get it running right.

    Bike Resto in full effect

Good news. The bike is together and is running great. I got the carbs back from Danny and he did a great job. The bike used to only run with the choke and now barely needs any choke to start. The seat came back from UFO and looks great. Very comfortable. The battery was shot from sitting so I...

this is pretty cool - torque wrench adapter

If the attached wrench is anything but perpendicular to the torque wrench it will not torque the bolt to what ever the wrench is set at. Think about it, if you extend the torque wrench, you create additional torque. edit: I just read the instructions, there are calculations to compensate for...

UFO slash cut muffler with custom silencers

I installed it today. It was easy but not as easy as they say in the video for the UFO 4 into 1. I had to drill the baffle so it would screw in. It does make a huge difference to quiet down the exhaust.

    Captain Kyle

I think he hooked me up with the forks for my bike. Good guy. At the end of the day this forum is great. Good people and more Vmax knowledge than anywhere else on the internet. I couldn't have build my bike without this place. For people selling parts eBay is always a good option. Figure about...

    temp gauge not functioning

If anyone else is having problems with the gauges... Corrosion at the screws in the back of the gauges was my biggest problem. I cleaned the screw heads but the corrosion came back quickly. I found some M3 pan head screws in stainless steel and replaced the screws. Also, it took me awhile to...
