I got one. I put a 8 cell in originally but it didn't like being used cold. Upgraded to the 12 cell and it's awesome. A little bit of a tight squeeze but it will fit in the battery box with a little persuasion

I have also had it that the rear brake switch was stuck and the brake light was on all the time giving the illusion that I just had running lights. I disconnected the switch and rung it out with a meter like was suggested before and found it out.

Ive had mine in for about a month. Only issue I've had with it to date is getting it in the bike. The 12 cell is wider then the stock battery and you need to bulge the battery box a bit to get it in.

I have a ballistic battery which is the same technology. It's great but it is true that on really cold nights it won't turn over the best until it warms up

I think you are describing the crankcase breather housing. There shouldn't be any fuel coming from there. Either coolant or oil (I had both leaking from it before I overhauled mine)

Looks like the fuel line is still on there but other then that they should pop off. They are a little stubborn though and can take a lot of effort to get off
