Hi! Welcome! Just south of you in Colorado Springs with a 2005.

i went all in for the 2005 gen1 knowing the mpg was not great. however, i've been averaging 47 mpg from new. it's all stock. so glad i don't have to stop at a gas station every 100 miles

So far every LED replacement bulb either flickers or the incorrect spread....very frustrating. Stock headlamp is inadequate at night.

Assuming the output of the battery/voltage regulator is 12v, voltage drops mean high resistance.

I currently have a Corbin seat but would be interested in these. I prefer the back portion raising up to access the tank instead of a velcro piece covering the tank. It would have to be able to clear the back "sissy :-P " back rest.

Love my 2005! just replaced the valve cover gaskets for xmas :p
