    Issues with 98 vmax

    How torn down did you go? sounds like a clogged pilot jet with bad sync at least. Also, I've been wrong before.

    You need something to bolt to both forks for sure. You could make one with a higher relief in it, but it would take some doing. Also there are tabs for the brace to bolt to that will get in the way of most taller things. Although I'm sure there are pics on here of drag bikes running without...

    Is something under the seat touching your starter solenoid? I don't have any ideas about the dash lights.

    I've got aluminum ones as well. I always put beads in the bars from a dive weight anyway, so I don't think it's too viby.

    Pcw is in New York. They're closer. I took my motor to Sean to do my transmission with him and would again if I was still in Texas.     I'd just send them to Dannymax, man. It'll be WAY cheaper than any mechanic near you, will be done right, tested (sometimes with video for you), and shipped back fast.

    150 170 180 on 15" Rear

    You can also check your swingarm bearings if things feel funny. Plenty of wandering, wobbles, and other odd handling things have been fixed by doing those. Also just checking torques on driveline bolts can be eye-opening on a newly acquired max. Sent from my STV100-2 using Tapatalk

    It's strange how all the works shocks are so different, even though they only list two models for the v-max. That's the 3rd configuration I've seen.
