Yeah sounds like stock plugs are the answer. I know I have iridium plugs now but going to go with stock next. I seem to be having some mpg issues. Only getting 26 so I am starting with some new properly gapped plugs to start.

Recommendation on best plugs?

No, looking for the piece that sits on the face of the gauges. Thin say 1/16 chromed or carbon that sits between that and the gauge faces.

Anyone know where I can find one of the polished/chrome metal faceplates that fit over the stock gauges?

Can someone verify this for me. I have an 85 that I am looking to replace my gauge cluster, speedo/tach ect. I can go with anything from years 85 to 89 correct?

Very visible on the wheel side but on the diff side it seems like removing bolts is also going to remove the plate and then my concern is what's behind that plate?

Somewhat on this topic I am wondering how you remove/replace the grey dust cover that is attach to the rear diff? I am looking to remove it, paint it, and reinstall it. Anything I need to be made aware of in doing this?
