Being a frugal person, I have been using the Vista-Cruise (or equivalent) for at least 35 years on every bike I have owned. Works great, takes no room on the grip and costs less that $30. On the Max requires some slight mods to the throttle sleeve.

My bike had the popped orange o-ring but was not bad enough to affect the pressure. I changed out the oil gallery for a later year one that Yamaha had changed to correct the problem. I have pictures and descriptions somewhere on this forum from years ago. Do a search on orange o-ring for more...

Oil pressure gauge. Common accessory due to the orange o-ring problem. The PO may have had an aftermarket exhaust and sold it before selling the bike to the current owner. Changing out the carb set-up is usually not worth the trouble to a seller.

Bike looks good and has some nice options. He didn't mention the larger headlight, different taillight, handlebars, horn and front fender. Surprised has stage 7 jet kit with stock mufflers though. That would be a question I would ask about.

All Corbin backrests fit all Corbin seats regardless of bike model. (Except Yamaha branded V-Max Corbin seats sold thru the dealers. They don't have the hole or internal hardware.). Try doing one shock at a time if they are similar in length to the stock. That is what I did when changing mine. It is fairly easy to move the wheel up if needed with only one shock.

Delkevics are slip on only, not full system. They do sell head pipes but are same diameter as stock.

If you want to see black wheels with orange stripe, check my album. I powdercoated my wheels black and applied the pinstripe. My rear wheel is a Kosman bolt-up, before he started welding them.
