Just my experience but that's exactly what happened when my first 85 vmax had issues with it's regulator. Replaced it with the newer type, and never had another problem.

My voo-doo 4 into 2 pipes are yellowing. I have only put about 350 miles on the bike since I've gotten it, but the pipe yellowing has gone nearly the length of the pipes, and is starting down the actual mufflers now. I have read this can be due to a tuning issue, so my first question is where...
