    Boy you make my mission sound easy putting THMAX back on the road after 3 years (where did that time go)same problems, rusty tank but recoverable,the fuel gauge sensor is also rusty do you know if it would be cleanable and not rust any more?also gunked up carbs cant get 2 of the pilot jets out...

    the pick up in the tank is also rusty any tips for that ? i dont want to go to all this trouble and have the pick up keeping rusting

    when you coated your tank ,how did you prevent the pick up and the breather line from blocking up? did you coat with the sealer right up to the cap?ive got the tank out not such a drama cleaning it out with product and nuts

    ah now the problem ,its been a few years since THMAX has been fired up (flat battery ofcoarse) and the carbs are a bit gunked up with old crappy fuel ,ive stripped down the carbs but trying to get out the little wee tiny pilot jets on 2 of the carbs has turned into a night mare ie i cant get...
