How about modifying the seat where it sits lower. I'm sure you can shave some of the foam off.

I'm not 100% sure as of now. I think I'm going to go back and trim the tank a little bit more to allow more seat and go from there. The tail is going to get trimmed some also.

So I'm looking for a wire wheel for my first Gen and can't seem to find one that fits. How hard is it to make an adapter for a wheel and what wheel should I use? I've seen people mention Harley wheels.

Unless you own a Harley. He sells modified Harley gas tanks for about 8-10,000 lol.

Do you have pictures? Any info you could show me would be greatly appreciated. Did you use joints or did you weld it straight to the frame? Did you use the factory tank? I'm looking to use a Gen 2 tank. If I can't get one I'm going to modify the factory tank.
