Gotcha. What sucks is I have a water pump mounted gauge, so looking down at it while really getting on it is somewhat tricky. If my o ring has started to pop out, would this cause the pressures to suddenly be lower than before? Sorry, don't have any experience with this.

Do you have crash bars with highway pegs now? If not, you may try that first. When I got the Max, I thought I wanted forwards as well. Tried the pegs first, and now am used to it. Much cheaper and gives you options while riding.

i got mine from pinwall cycle out of ohio. they are on ebay and ship pretty quick. I had to buy the grips and the tube came in one. was only like $10 or so plus shipping.

I got the Progressive 430's for the rear. Alot of people go with the 440's, but I liked the look of the 430's better. Got mine through Sean Morley here on the site. I went with 11.5" for the rear and lowered the front 2" internally with progressive springs there as well. Love the way it sits...

+1 on the Sean love fest. He puts up with alot of emails about the most mundane questions (from me) and never fails to provide a quick answer. I buy everything I can from him. As soon as riding season's over, I'm going to be getting his Muscle jet kit.

Vmax06fan, which leds did you use for the speedo? If it was the HP3's you might try the 74x or 74HP instead. I used the 74x and it's a nice soft glow that doesn't seem to wash out the numbers. Just a thought.
