are u talking about you chain drive conversion max??I have been pondering the chain conversion for awhile now..What size springs did u use?

Yeah I was trying to avoid race techs cause I have used them on the sport bikes and man are they stiff as hell...

I went with the 05 gsxr front forks cause I got a steal on them with the calipers..So I took my gsxr750 gafner rotors 320mm shim them to fit the 1000 set up and also spaced up the calipers 5mm to make up for the larger rotors I had..Used a hayabusa axle cause the spread on the forks is wider...

The PIA bulbs blow the silver star ultras away...I have both there is no comparison . I forget what they call them,,but they really rock,,they are alot of money like 50.00 but damn they are awesome..

I test drove the new max,,but I couldnt rip on it cause the owner would only let me test drive it on his street so no holeshots for me..Anyone have one and how does it compare to the old max?

yeah i was pondering selling it if I got the right price cause I was thinking of the new max.. I love this bike,,but I want Fuel injection and comfort..With the gsxr front end and the lowered progressives in the rear its not a nice ride like the 2009 is..

I understand that,,but the owner taking out on vmax forums is just kind of stupid on his part..Thats ok cause I wont do a pennies worth of business with them and im sure alot of people on here got turned off when they found out they backed off on their word...

One wonders why people go out of business...I called mondak and asked for a discount being a forum member and to my surprise not only did they say no more discounts the guy told me when I said they will be losing thousands ,,he replied the owner said he doesnt need our business so I said ok no...

Mondak no longer offers discounts cause gary is no longer there and the owner says they do not need the extra business..

I have NOS and I have no problems in ny or nj....Cops all tell me no big deal... ANd yes u need NOS the max is fast ,,but after 9000.00 in the motor and I still couldnt break low 9s I said screw this and put the nos on now im a happy camper..

instead of redoing the inerts its easier and cheaper to go with a busa front end which is geared towards the weight of my max anyway..Valving is way off cause the gsxr 750 is a much lighter bike..I made a mistake by using a 750,,but the only reason I did it was because I wanted to see if it...

My bike is as light as u can make a max...Sportbike rims front and back,,,all tins were replaced with plastics,,,gsxr front end,,,no air box,,,Any weight u can take off a bike has been done...I havent weighed it yet,,but im guessing 500 or so,,,but im a 200 pound rider ...

Stock coils are 3 ohms...So if u have a 1.5 ohm cop why not just goto 1.5 ohm resistor ???? I did it and so far I logged 900 miles and thats with a dyna and riding hard on track days... 3 ohm resistor I cant see making anything better...I talked to dyna about this and they agree as long as...

So anyone who has done the USD conversion what spring rate are u using and how is the ride? I have used the gsxr750 front end with a 0.90 rate which I think sucks and now im trying a hayabusa one,,Ill be putting it on in 2 weeks or so... So please post your conversion and the spring rate that...
