At one time I was thinking about expanding the present tank with the room under the buddy seat and having the fill in the back for easy access. If there won't be a new Max, I'll probably do that. There should be enough room for an extra gallon.

With all the recent restrictions of chainsaws and such, I too doubt they would let me park the Max in the isle next to me. Going by Max, is still the only way to fly!

Sure reads like he was talking valves here and not seats. I've always had a choice of regular exhaust valves or the stellite kind, which cost more but wear much better. They even have valves made out of a titanium alloy mixture. Metals are getting stronger and lighter all the time.

From the way you read, you should definitely hang on to your creation and find another way around the finances. Taking out a small loan would be cheaper than loosing what you invested in the bike. There just has to be a better/another alternative. ???

Re: Tire question I got mine through the dealer for $105 + $15 for mounting. Not sure if they screwed up on the price or wanted a happy customer since I bought my new Max from them. I too live in Ohio.
