I was thinking about p = F / A, doesn't it apply? smaller line = smaller Area, less Force?

I don't believe this is an issue. The pressure coming from the second tank is only the gravity feed, coming from a small fuel line. I could imagine, the pressure built up inside, full tank, the bike sitting in the sun is much more.
