You could go bigger, but it changes the profile of the contact patch... Most run a 190 on a 6" rim and a 180 on a 5.5" rim so it makes sense that a 200 and 6.25 would be pretty well set.

Lowering the suspension does knock down clearance, but you have to also remember that in most cases it's many times stiffer than stock so it doesn't compress nearly as much in the corners. I have it two in front and .5 in back. I have a sport bike for the corners, but this thing does pretty...

Shift light and oil gauges are NOT a must. They're a nice "to have" item IMO. There's nothing wrong with the stock calipers. HH pads and braided lines will suffice. Suspension on the cheap, but decent is progressive springs and 15wt oil. Better yet is the same with Ricor's installed...

Worlds better than stock! I put then in my buddies bike and he was amazed and wondered why he hadn't done it earlier. It WILL be stiffer than stock, but that's a GOOD thing. Stock IMO is dangerously soft. Chris

412's are better than stock, but JUST. 418 or higher is recommended. I has the 412's and now have the 440's and the 440's are MUCH MUCH better. Chris

It's all about what you like... Personally, I like the lines of the Vmax which is why I bought one to begin with. I changed a few things with mine, but overall kept it stock looking. If you like yours, who cares what others think... Chris
