Glad you are alright, they do use alot of sand around here in the winter, and since we had such a long snowy winter, the roads (especaily the corners) are coated with the stuff...Sorry I don't have any of the parts you need, if you are ever in the KC/liberty are let me know...

I went for a great ride last Wednsday, it was almost 70 and nearly perfect, just a little windy....it was the fist ride of the season and reminded me why I LOVE this bike so much.....of course it snowed on Friday, and has been butt ugly cold every day since....

Re: Bike covers... This is probably a dumb question but are they pretty much "one size fits all" or is there a size that fits the Max better then others???

Hey Randy I don't know you, but I just went through a really bad time myself.....Friends are the only thing that will get you through the tough spots....it sounds like you have allot of friend son here who truly care about you, you should defiantly take them up on their offer of help or someone...

Mine have been done for over two years now with no problem, no pits, no peeling, The guy I bought the bike from had them done, but I called and asked him who did them (after several people asked me about them). he said that while the company did them did an excelant job on them, they were a pain...

I have one in perfect condition, but it is allready chromed. I wasn't sure if you were looking for chromed or "stock". Not sure what a fair price would be either.....Let me know we can work something out.
