Finaly got around to taking a picture of the Max without the sissy bar and the chromed grab bar installed. I have to say I think it look smuch better.......Sean (Morley's Muscle) did a great job on the chroming and the customer service was top notch.. here she is before and after...

"aftermarket" engine paint is a iffy propasistion to begin with its a pain to get all the parts all clean and preped, and there is a chance that what you use to clean the parts will effect the paints adhesion, and finish. I have painted parts for my car using the same method to clean them...

thats what I was going to sudgest, I saved it to disk, then I can just pull up and print out what ever I want, that also means that if the paper gets dirty while working on the bike it doesn't mess up the entire book...

Just wondering why you went form an 85, to an 86,then back to an 85?? was there somehting about the 86 you didn't like?? by the way I think the Magna's were bad ass...definatly a close second (IMO) to the Vmax...

Mine had allready been changed out by the guy i bought my bike from. i do wish I could have heard the stock set up, but I do like the way my bike sounds now....its LOUD..Kerkers with the baffles removed...

I rode dirt bikes since about the time I could walk as well...to be honost I couldn't even tell you what my first dirt bikes were...I still love dirt bikes and ATV's, to bad its such a pain in the ass to find anywhere to ride them anymore..

Re: New Member Welcome to the site, carbon fiber was the regular paint color for several years (99-02), mine had carbon fiber on it (its an 01), but it has bright red (88 color) skin and fenders now...
