Mine did this the other day for the first time...I believe its a common occourance/problem on all year Vmaxes, the oil gets forced back and away from the sensor during hard acceleration and cauuses the light to go off, from what I ve read as long as it only does it under the aformentioned...

Good points, if they could have upgraded the motor, in terms of HP and cooling issues, the brakes, and handeling, while leaving the looks/styling closer to the original I would be the first in line for a new one as it is, I could take it or leave it....but if I bought one, it would definatly be...

Yeah I saw that, the problem with that is if you decide the bike is just not for you, or you find/buy one you like better then he has your email address....I went through this when I was looking for my Max...in fact I still get emails from two guys offering to lower the pirce on their bikes even...

Sounds nice, although it alllways bugs me when people don't post pictures (or at least a link to pics) of something they are trying to sell.

I'm by no means an expert, but I would think any Vmax carbs would bolt up and work (maybe needing some rejetting) since the engine is pretty much unchanged since 85......I'm sure if thats not right someone else will let us know..
