Decided to give this a shot and design my own V-max logo on a cheapo wind breaker jacket from Walmart. Used some reflective tape I found at Academy. Added some strong glue and will test to see if it withstands the elements. It turned out ok.
That's what is called a MAP sensor by some. You could probably make this one work. You just have to get the right one. They make 1 Bar and 2 Bar also...

That'swhat I was thinking. Reason I ask is because I ended up with one extra bike battery and am using it for some remote lighting. Barn is about 70ft from the house. Works pretty good but needs charge after 2 weeks. I'll be getting a large solar panel. Already have the charge controller...

If I hook up two batteries to my automatic battery charger, do I go parallel? I know it might read the voltage of the batery that charges up first but it will trickle into the other one eventually, no?
So, what makes this so? Looking at the 1996 models, they came with 140 hp rating. That's a huge, I said huge, difference from the below 100 hp of the 1998 models. Where did they hide it? Airbox? Heads? Exhaust?
Is anybody using these gizmos? What kind of plan is needed for the sim card? How accurate is it? Please post up. Considering buying into this technology.
I'm a newbie here and just found this post. I think it's an excellent alternative to consider. True the cost of a second line is 3 times my insurance premium but if someone can afford it, at least this app is offered at no cost. App looks useful. I do have a question and an observation...
