Yup with all these random issues Im starting to think something electrical is bad. But the fuel pump seems to pump fine. I can run 115mph for as much road as i have and i doesn't run outa fuel so i cant imagine its bad. Jason

    Carb syncing with vacuum gauges

Yup itll work... they wont get you as finely tuned as a morgan or merc gauge, but theyll get you close. I used to use two vaccum gauges before i bought my morgan. Restrictors are a must though, other wise the vacum gauge bounces like mad. Jason

    Fork Oil

what brand did you use out of curiosity? I used PJ1 30w fork oil(gold series or something), i was at my local hole in the wall bike shop and mentioned my forks being super squishy and he recommended that.... and i cant complain, works great for me(stock forks and springs) until i upgrade to...

    Fork Oil

Well my front end wasnt sloppy when i first got the bike and i liked how it rode, so im guessing the PO used a heavier weight of fluid... and im on a budget so upgrading my springs and everything isnt an option. Besides, adding a heavier oil isnt going to actually hurt anything. It all about...

    Fork Oil

Well i ran the 10w and hated it... i did new fork seals and everything and my forks were so squishy my front end handled like CRAP!! so i used some 30w and i love it! much stiffer front end, still has plenty of give but when i hit my front breaks it doesnt feel like my forks are going to bottom...

Lets beat the dead horse... again

Okay a little update.. i resynced the carbs just to make sure they were good(which they were) and pulled the 160mains outa my PAJ2s and put the 170s back in. My current setup -stock air box and filter -#165 mains -#170 PAJ2 -#90 PAJ1 -#40 FPJ -kerker 4-2-1( with the larger muffler..2...

Lets beat the dead horse... again

Okay so i finally fixed something... i feel a bit dumb for not checking this sooner... but oh well. I pulled my fuel lines after finding that i had very low pressure coming from my pump... and come to find out my fuel filter actually comes apart:confused2: and was clogged with a bunch of crap...

Lets beat the dead horse... again

Lets beat the dead horse... again

Lets beat the dead horse... again

Well i replaced the fuel line from the pump to the carbs after i had the carbs cleaned, so that shouldnt be leaking anything. Ill have to see how it pumps fuel outa the line into a bucket, i havent tried that. Jason
