    Maxiboost draining battery?

That is the same guy I bought the HD ground and HD battery wiring kits from. Good quality.

    stupid with big balls

Lots of skill, not a lot of brains.... Only one small mistake and a lot of guys are on the ground. Wonder why that cop pulled his gun?

How many miles a year you put on your bike.

When I used to take long trips every year (3500 miles or so), I kept a spare rear wheel and tire so I wouldn't have to mess with getting a new tire on the trip. Use the almost worn out one around town and swap to the new(er) one for trips.

This ain't good...ain't good at all!

Great sentiment but with so much crap on the internet now, I doubt Clint actually said that. Almost everything I checkout on the net turns out to be BS. I no longer forward political statements anymore without checking them out first. Too embarrassing when called on it.

Question for those who have taken a VMax on long trips...

Done lots of trips on the Max. Longest was Dallas to the Outer Banks and back in 7 days. Total 3500 miles and I was almost 60. (500 miles a day average). Hit Deals Gap and the Blue Ridge Parkway on that trip. Big Bend and back in 4 days. Around 1600 miles with the side trips. Had a Corbin seat...

    Finally.

We have the typical Texas weather. Yesterday about 80 degrees. Today, ice covering the roads. Schools closed tomorrow. Low in the 20's. Never know how to dress except in the summer when it is always hotter than hell...

    Odyssey Battery Died

OK, did find some info on a Panasonic LC-X1220P. Found one for about $46 shipped. Is this the battery everyone was talking about and if so, is this the best price?

    Odyssey Battery Died

Well, looks like my Odyssey battery finally died. It has a build date of 12/04 so it lasted over 9 years. Trying to charge it right now but have my doubts it will take. As much as I like the battery, I need to find something less expensive but still maintenance-free. It is just too much of a...

    Got my Givi E55NT !!!

I love Givi gear. Had two sets of saddlebags (21 ltrs x 2 and 41 ltrs x 2) and two trunks (52 ltrs and 35 ltrs) that I mixed depending on the trip. When on 3500 mile one week trips I used the largest of each. Around town and over night, used the smallest. Great stuff...:clapping:

    Fire call from hell!

Wonder why that car close to the event didn't move? Did the driver abandon the vehicle? Something similar to that but much larger happened in Dallas a few years ago when a huge propane tank facility caught fire near downtown and sent hundreds of various size burning propane tanks flying...

    Clutch slave rebuild?

There are several online discount stores that sell parts more reasonably. K&N in Tulsa and Boats.net are a couple. To get the good price at K&N, have to tell them you are a member of this website. They are 25% over actual cost. Ask for Tyler McDonald. He is the contact. Hopefully he is still...

A few simple cosmetic mods + forward controls

If you look closely, you can see the black plastic Givi trunk bracket under the bag. It bolts on and I just leave it on and can swap bag for trunk if I need lockable storage.

A few simple cosmetic mods + forward controls

That is why I like the Corbin seat backrest. Easy to add/remove and not quite as noticeable when installed but still comfortable for the passenger. I have the old style that has the small pouch on the backside. Sorry about the huge bag. It is a Nelson-Rigg that has a solar kit available for...
