That packing you see might just be whats left from the cold end of the pipe. If you pull it out, see if it's all there, and not just a bit at the end.

I learned the hard way bout those needles things, if the washer is missing off the blunt needle side, your bike runs like a piece of crap.

So did it spark?

Pull the plug and leave it attached, then see if she's sparking...... just a couple of revs should tell you.

You can always tie back a few coils on the spring and get the same results. The reason i suggest Dyno tuning stock springs is my midrange was basically off the charts (rich) with drillled slides. http://www.vmaxforum.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=4137&d=1217994843 :confused2:

Advise: wait to see if you need to drill the slides, the're no turning back once you do.

Without those washers your plugs will be be foul in no time (ask me how I know)

Thx guys, I'll go up to 150.'s so we don't blow it up. Actually found a great priced dyno man up here. I'll post data and we'll have some hard numbers for a 4,000 ft. drop. Might be a few, I'm broke as hell.........:bang head: I still have my old jets from the Morley kit.
