I agree with one2dmax. I’ve seen this before over the years on different bikes and other brands of tires. Most of the time caused by prolonged riding on the outer section of the lane due to the slope built in for water roll off. 40 psi doesn’t help either.

If your bike is in a heated garage during northern winter months, you don’t get flat spots on your tires. Actually, haven’t radial tires eliminated flat spots? Maybe if the bike hasn’t budged in a few years, then flat spots would be the least of your problems.

Bought my new Vmax 2 years ago in July. By mid August, was one a 10 day solo moto camping trip to the Cabot Trail. My first time in the Maritimes. Amazing trip, people, riding, scenery and food! Won’t be my last, so many more areas to discover. I’ll definitely look you up. All the best!

Btw there is a 3rd mounting point at the engine mount behind the main radiator which would spread the impact exponentially better than 2 points, which incidetally is the case of Sato's upper X-brace protection offering ;)
