FWIW - Dodge trucks are made in Mexico. Just sayin... EDIT - not dissing Mexico. I've vacationed there & met some great people & had a wonderful time. In today's world market it's hard to know what's what any more. Toyotas are made in the USA, Dodges are made in Mexico - all vehicles have parts...

+1 We always check for waterlines under the dash on vehicles for at least a year after a flood anywhere in the SE. Fresh water, not so bad - salt water = POISON :rip: There's good deals out there to be had if your'e willing to assume some risk. Just curious - why Dodge ?

Painted the right side of my motor. (no pics) Painted the left side a couple months ago & it came out great, so now both sides match. Taping for a few hours is a PITA, but it's worth it.

My exhaust is drilled the same way & I have NO problems with idle or off-idle. If the bike has sat for a while, I'm sure the problem is in your carbs. It doesn't take much to plug up the tiny holes in the jet block. Rebuild, resync, & I'm sure you'll be fine.

My homemade T-Boost has the exact same switch in the exact same place. Check out the T-Boost thread in VMAXOUTLAW.com. Luggage racks are cool - I made my own - not nearly as nice as those, but they work.

Take your battery OUT & try to jump it from another vehicle with cable connected only. A shorted battery will sometimes screw up a jump start because it draws too much current. If it will start from another vehicle with your vmax battery totally OUT of the loop, your battery is shorted. Check...
