Fuel I seem to be having ethanol issues. the carbs lost pilot screw response. What do y'all use to treat the fuel or anything else you can think of. I took the carbs of to clean them and need to find a clue . Thanks in advance for any info.

Just thinkin' With all of the Gen 1 vmax being smog exempt , I was thinking that the coast enrichment valve is not needed. Would deleting them improve fuel mileage or even simplify jetting? I so far have not heard this topic discussed. What say you all? Stay warm . Wayne B

Hello I have an unusual question. Is a swap of 94' engine case with '86 internals possible. I am hoping it is a direct swap. I do understand that the crank, balancer and final drive has to be delt with. are there any problems with the clutch, water pump ,transmission or heads. thanks...

Hello all I just removed the oil pump from my 1200, and i checked the backlash of the idler gear and it seamed to be a lot. I marked the place of a gear tooth and then rotated it as far as it would go and it moved 1 whole tooth! does any one know if this is excessive? Thanks for any help . Wayne

I go to ace hardware for most hard to find fasteners. take a like one with you and measure it with that do- dad that hangs on the bin. They also have some chrome stuff. Just saying Wayne

1986 high beam blue indicator light glows at half brightness when the ignition is on, running or not with the light switch in low beam position and works normal in high beam. Is ths normal for it to glow in low beam? thanks in advance. wayne:cool:
