I don't really care what takes place on other sites, its when the harassing comes here to this site. If he was harassed on other sites, he should have retaliated on the other site, not here, and not after being warned and given time off for it.

I'm still in the process of going through the carbs and don't plan on replacing anything but gaskets and orings. Keyster appears to be made in China whereas the K&L is made in Japan. If I were replacing the needle and seat, I would go with genuine Yamaha to be safe.

I got K&L gasket/oring kits from ebay, for like $9 per carb. Has everything needed to freshen things up without costing an arm and leg with OEM Yamaha.

Pilot jet most likely plugged. I would probably start with the easy stuff by making sure you are getting spark at the plug, then drain the carb bowls and look for junk in them. Check the fuel tank and filter for rust, but at the end of everything you will probably have to pull carbs and...

I would drain the oil in a clean pan and see if there is any debris in it. Then stick a scope in the hole/drain/fill and see if you can detect any loose chunks.
