hey thanks for the info. does he have a website or do you have info where i can reach him. my seat wasnt too bad last year but this year it isnt as comfortable for my wife or me and after a 450 miles weekend ride our a$$es were dead. lol.

anyone ever had the seat cushion on a sportsmax seat redone? i like the seat but it is like sitting on the frame and having over 5000 miles on it? where would be a good place to have this done? thanks

i took shawns idear of hmf exhaust and love it sounds great and looks good as well. i put a lower seat on but think its foam is all worn out as its not very comfortable beyond 40 miles. mu 01' had a lower forks in the tree and seems to help handling a little better then the 06.

yes i bought a corbin and had the same too wide feeling so i sold it. i need one in between the stock cruishion and the sportmax. lol.

yea thats was i thought. i liked the mustang seat i had on my old virago. i would like in between the stocker and corbin(which is too wide for me). thanks for the response.

i think thats way to tight. my book doesnt say anything like that high torque.

you know i actually think the stock dunlops hooked up better then 880's i had on my 01' vmax. as you see if the video it pushed the front tire at first. just my opinion.

i dont know, w/ the wife not on i make it bark alot and really get noticed lol. hes right they do sound better in person and when you go in a tunnle or under pass, wow its loud.:biglaugh:

well heres the story, orderd my k525 and got it in a week and thought i could just maybe scrape the white off. WRONG it doesnt come off as its white alll the way thru the riased letters. so i used a permant black magic marker to color over them. so we'll see how it holds up. it was a great...

how long did it take to get your tire bill? i ended up getting the raised white letter so ill have to find away to peel the white off. the only place that i found the black raised letter is thru yahama for around $260.00. the 07's came w/ the same 525's as my 05'. still wondering why it said...

the problem is that theres are w/ raised white lettered and mine has raised black letters. this is on an 05' wouldnt look very good w/ white letter on back and black on front. thanks anyways.

wanted to buy a new rear 525 to match what i took off since the front is still good shape and cant find any that isnt a white raised letter except thru yamaha @$250.00. ouch, not paying that much if i can help it. thanks.

thanks guys. yea the eletrodes arent sooty at all. the air screw caps have been removed when i put my s trapps on we turned it another 1/2 turn i think. cant remeber since it was too yrs ago. i think ill have to do something as its too lean in my eyes and it still burps when i i give it throttle...

well i pulled right front plug out to check after a ride other day and it was close to being soild white. not a good color to have in my book. a little on the lean side wouldnt you think?
