So very true, I worked on military aircraft for 30 and simple green was a high usage item. Thanks for reminding me of that great idea and the link to it. I don't want to damage anything by the simple but important cleaning process.

Great info on the ultrasonic cleaning. Preparing to do my carbs in the near future so I got one and have asked the question what to use for solution. Some cleaners almost acid etch which would definitely mess with the enrichener piston. Wife says to use dawn and I say carbs aren't jewelry though...

Yes that's all good, I should have been more specific an asked for a vmax carb. Also have small drill bits and guitar strings for the big stuff.

Thanks so much for that vmax knowledge. I'm going with 150's. Like you said, mine actually runs pretty well with stock set up. I have never put it on a dyno though. Just thought I would change jet size because it does run rich.

Nice to know that information, will take that to note. When I changed out the cobras and returned to stock exhaust the seller gave me an option to buy one with the end discs removed. He lead me to believe it would be much louder so I choose one with end discs.
