Yes. it is what you think it is

I like the technology and I find that Charger to be beautiful, but the price is ridiculous and only for the uber wealthy. Even then if I had it, I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a vintage muscle car. I'd rather get a new all steel body, from Dynacorn and others are who selling them and...

Yes. it is what you think it is

I like how the website says, for the body alone, investment starts at 200K and if you choose clear coat option another 20K. Frame from a reputable builder like Roadster Shop and crate Hellcat engine and trans, you can tack on another 100K. I imagine a turn key with all the goodies and options...

A lot of different tire and rim combinations.

How's the fitment issue and is there any rubbing or clearance issues? Those look pretty sharp.

2001 vmax new throttle cables too big for holder connector?

I like the looks of the Motion Pro and the clear Amor coating ones are really sharp. Thank you guys who suggested going that route. If I'm going to put some new ones on, might as well make my bike stand out somewhat.

A lot of different tire and rim combinations.

Hello everyone and I hope the holidays are going smooth for all of you. I've been on the fence about what tires to go with for my 2001 V Max and have tossed around the ideas of bigger rims and the cost is a little steep for my budget. I decided since I use my Max for tinkering around and not...

2001 vmax new throttle cables too big for holder connector?

I need to replace the throttle cables on my 2001 Max and do you recommend I go with the brand you mentioned or should I order the stock ones? I appreciate any help.

    Why a Vmax?

Back in 1985 I was 18 and loved motorcycles and classic cars, still do, but was young and more crazy then, and I saw my first V Max on the local Yamaha showroom floor. In 1985 it was a big event when it came out and just about everyone that was into cars and motorcycles was talking about it. The...

    1st Gen V-Max My 2001 VMax

I do my own research, in fact a lot of it, and was just asking personal opinions of what works for those who have went with different from what the factory did. Your bike looks really sweet, but those bars aren't the look I'm going for. I did just order my forward controls and hopefully they...

    1st Gen V-Max My 2001 VMax

Thank you and I like them too. At first, I was kind of missing the look of the stock exhaust, but the Supertrapps give it a great sound and look cool as well.

What handlebars do you recommend? I'm open to suggestion and want to make my bike more comfortable.

    1st Gen V-Max My 2001 VMax

The previous owner said that he had a miss and that a bike shop in Kenosha Wisconsin told him it needed a rebuild. I saw the paperwork and it almost 4K worth of work done and looks like the top end only was freshened up, the Supertrapps were added, and some carb work was done. The bike runs...

    1st Gen V-Max My 2001 VMax

Just wanted to introduce myself and my 2001 V Max that I picked up last week. She has 45K on her, but had the top end rebuilt and is in great shape. I look forward to cleaning her up and doing some improvements over the winter.

    Installed Forward Controls

First off, I like your outlook on life and couldn't agree more. At 55 and haven't owned a motorcycle in 25 years, it was time for me to get back in the hobby. I just bought my first V Max last week (a 2001) and its something I've wanted since 1985 when seeing the first one on the showroom floor...
